About the Authors
As Christians, both Steve and Vicki have struggled making good decisions throughout their lives. They have been married over 31 years and have done amazing things in the business world despite their personal failures.
In 2000, they sold their international consulting business, moved to Texas and bought a ranch. It was there, that despite more bad decisions, God put them through radical self-awareness. They used the ranch as a western movie set, event venue, and tourist attraction. But their most important decision was to use the ranch as a site for elementary school field trips.
The students were taught Texas history, with the emphasis on the hardships and the character of all the early inhabitants. Despite hardships, the students learned the secret to success and happiness is “WE” is greater than “ME.” This message is now spreading all over the state of Texas and beyond.
Steve and Vicki used the message “WE” is greater than “ME” to write a personal excellence book for organizations and all types of individuals. They trained over 3,000 people with this book and helped change hundreds of lives. God continued to show Steve and Vicki that He could use a secular book to change lives. However, God put it on their heart to write this Christian book, Self-Awareness: Winning the Spiritual War.
